Coverage & networks
Coverage includes Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. Available network connections include 5G and 4G, depending on the country and carrier. For example, the eSIM connects to China Mobile and China Unicom in China, KDDI/au in Japan, CelcomDigi in Malaysia, and AIS and CAT in Thailand.
How much data you need
Plans include 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB and 20GB options. A smaller allowance may suit occasional messaging, maps and email, while a larger plan is more suitable for frequent navigation, social media and other regular mobile data use. Unlimited data is not available, but you can top up if you need more data during your trip.
