Coverage & networks
Use one eSIM across the countries included in the plan instead of changing SIMs between destinations. The available network connections include 5G options such as 3 in Austria and Denmark, A1 in Croatia, Airtel in Kenya and Tanzania, and AirTel in India. 4G and 3G connections are also available in some countries, so network type can vary by destination. Coverage is limited to the 123 countries included with Global Plus.
How much data you need
Plans include 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB and 20GB of data. The smaller options may suit short trips or light use such as messaging, maps and occasional browsing, while 10GB or 20GB gives you more room for frequent navigation, social media and streaming. Unlimited data is not available. You can top up if you need more data during your trip.
Setting it up
Global Plus offers plan durations of 7, 30, 90 or 365 days. Select a duration that covers your itinerary and choose the data allowance that matches your usage. The eSIM is data-only, so calls and texts are not included; use internet-based calling and messaging services when connected to data.
